Publication charges
EFORT Open Reviews is an open-access publication. The authors pay an Article Publication Charge (APC) for their accepted articles to be made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication.
All articles will be published under the CC-BY-NC Open Access Licence, allowing others to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles without permission providing the work is properly referenced and the re-use is non-commercial. If authors need to publish under a different licence by their funder (either CC-BY or CC-BY-NC-ND), they should contact the publisher at eor@bioscientifica.com to confirm this.
The APC only becomes payable upon acceptance of a manuscript and needs to be paid for an article to proceed to publication.
The APC for manuscripts is GBP 1800 / EUR 2000 / USD 2400 (excluding VAT*).
*Value Added Tax (VAT) will be added to transactions within the UK and Europe.

How to pay
Payment of APCs can be made by credit card or invoice via Copyright Clearance Center's RightsLink service.
If author(s) are eligible for discounted publishing fees or have a discount code these cannot be used cumulatively; only one deduction will be applied per manuscript.
